Voormalig RECHTHUIS, sinds 1820 raadhuis. Monumentaal bouwwerk met afgeronde hoeken aan de voorzijde een fronton met beeldhouwwerk, gedragen door twee zuilenparen en een koepeltoren in Lodewijk XVI-stijl. Opgetrokken in 1781-'83 door J.S. Creutz. Raadzaal in Lodewijk XVI-stijl. In de secretarie, vroeger weeskamer, een schouw in Lodewijk XV- en XVI-stijl.

Former COURTHOUSE, since 1820 town hall. Monumental building with rounded corners at the front a pediment with sculpture, supported by two pairs of columns and a cupola tower in Louis XVI style. Erected in 1781-'83 by J.S. Creutz. Council chamber in Louis XVI style. In the secretariat, formerly orphanage room, a fireplace in Louis XV and XVI style.
