Herv. kerk. Zeldzaam specimen van classicistische kerkbouw uit de dertiger jaren der 19e eeuw, naar verluidt naar ontwerp van A.D. Duif te Balk gebouwd op kruisvormig grondplan. In de kerk koperen doopbekkenhouder en twee lezenaars. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Nevenwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1938 gemaakt door Bakker en Timmenga in een orgelkas van J.C. Scheuer uit 1839. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, Gebr. van Bergen, Midwolda, 1913, later voorzien van synchroonmotor.

Reformed church. Rare specimen of classicist church building from the 1830s, reportedly built to the design of A.D. Duif in Balk on cruciform floor plan. In the church copper font holder and two lecterns. Organ with Great Work, Positive Work and free Pedal, made in 1938 by Bakker and Timmenga in an organ case by J.C. Scheuer from 1839. Mechanical tower clock, Gebr. van Bergen, Midwolda, 1913, later fitted with synchronous motor.
