Huis "In den gulden engel", onder zadeldak en met trapgevel van het "Dordtse" type, met natuurstenen banden, waterlijsten en blokken, geprofileerde korfboogvormige ontlastingsbogen met metselmozaïek in de boogvelden boven de vensters, waartussen -in de verdieping- gakartelde zuiltjes op kraagstenen en met kapitelen, waarop gezwenkte, boven de vensters rechthoekig omgeknikte bogen rusten. Boven de deur een schelpmotief. Tien sierankers. In het midden twee gevelstenen: tussen de topvensters een alliantiewapen; tussen de middenvensters een steen met in reliëf een engel in een nis, waaronder een cartouche met het jaartal "1593", waarboven het opschrift: In den gulden engel". Gerestaureerd in 1956.

Description
House "In den gulden engel", with a gabled roof and with a stepped gable of the "Dordrecht" type, with natural stone bands, drip mouldings and blocks, moulded segmental arch-shaped relieving arches with masonry mosaic in the arch fields above the windows, between which -on the storey- crenellated small columns on corbels and with capitals, on which curved, above the windows rectangular bent-back arches rest. Above the door a shell motif. Ten ornamental wall anchors. In the centre two facade stones: between the top windows an alliance coat of arms; between the middle windows a stone with an angel in relief in a niche, beneath which a cartouche with the date "1593", above which the inscription: "In den gulden engel". Restored in 1956.
