Omschrijving
19e eeuws PAND (gedateerd 1868) dat bekend staat als het voormalige Stadsburgerweeshuis.
Onderkelderd bakstenen gebouw, bestaande uit begane grond, zolderverdieping voorzien van balcon met gietijzeren balustrade en dakhuis, dat wordt gedekt door een schilddak, belegd met blauwgeglazuurde pannen en is voorzien van twee hoekschoorstenen met borden.
Centrale, omlijste, ingangspartij met dubbele paneeldeur met getoogd bovenlicht; te weerszijden twee getoogde zesruitsschuifvensters, waaromheen bakstenen omlijsting in de vorm van een gedrukte boog die rust op gesneden consoles; onder de vensters houten waterlijsten en twee keldervensters, waarboven 1,5 steens strekken die een hoekig verloop hebben; hardstenen plint; hardstenen trap; geprofileerde kroonlijst met gootlijst op klossen, die a.h.w. wordt ondersteund door houten hoekpilasters met verzonken velden op hardstenen plint; sierankers.
Te weerszijden van het pand met hardsteen beklede poortjes met strokendeuren.
In het boogveld van het ene een driepas met opschrift: ingang in het boogveld van het andere een polychrome zittende vrouwenfiguur; de poortjes worden beëindigd door klauwstukken.
Voor het huis nog enkele stoeppalen.
In het haaks op de achtergevel staande niet in verband gemetselde en derhalve vermoedelijk later aangebouwde gedeelte twee stenen resp. met opschrift en afbeelding van 2 wezen (jongen en meisjes) en opschrift 'BURGERWEESHUIS'.

Description
19th-century BUILDING (dated 1868) known as the former Town Poor House.
Cellared brick building, consisting of ground floor, attic storey provided with balcony with cast-iron balustrade and roof house, which is covered by a hipped roof, laid with blue glazed tiles and provided with two corner chimneys with boards.
Central, framed, entrance section with double panel door with arched fanlight; on either side two arched six-light sash windows, around which brick surround in the form of a depressed arch resting on carved consoles; below the windows wooden drip mouldings and two cellar windows, above which 1.5 brick courses that have an angular course; sandstone plinth; sandstone stairs; moulded cornice with gutter moulding on consoles, which is as it were supported by wooden corner pilasters with recessed panels on sandstone plinth; ornamental wall anchors.
On either side of the building small gates faced with sandstone with strip doors.
In the arch field of one a trefoil with inscription: entrance in the arch field of the other a polychrome seated female figure; the gates are terminated by claw pieces.
In front of the house several bollards.
In the section at right angles to the rear gable, not built in bond and therefore presumably added later, two stones respectively with inscription and image of 2 orphans (boys and girls) and inscription 'BURGERWEESHUIS'.
