Omschrijving
Voormalige kazerne. Bakstenen gebouw, bestaande uit drie langgerekte vleugels met verdieping en schilddaken, die een binnenplein omsluiten. Hardstenen plint, gebosseerde bakstenen muurdammen en houten kroonlijst. De risalerende en gebosseerde middenpartij aan de Kazernestraat bevat de door een ijzeren hek afgesloten toegangspoort, waarboven een steen met gebeeldhouwde leeuw en het jaartal 1790. Aan de zijde van het binnenplein heeft deze middenpartij eenzelfde vormgeving. Het binnenplein wordt aan de achterzijde afgesloten door een lage vleugel met schilddak. Description
Former barracks. Brick building consisting of three elongated wings with upper storey and hipped roofs enclosing an inner courtyard. Hard stone plinth, rusticated brick wall panels and wooden cornice. The projecting and rusticated central section on the Kazernestraat contains the access gate enclosed by an iron railing, above which a stone with carved lion and the date 1790. On the side of the inner courtyard this central section has the same design. The inner courtyard is closed off at the rear by a low wing with hipped roof. Hard stone pump with crown lantern in the inner courtyard.
