Omschrijving
Door middel van een tussenlid met de N.H. Kerk verbonden bakstenen gebouwtje van een bouwlaag onder met blauwe pannen gedekt zadeldak tussen ingezwenkte tuitgevels met staafankers, in oorsprong bestemd tot schoolgebouw en vermoedelijk daterend uit de 18e eeuw. De hoofdingang - met dubbele paneeldeuren - bevindt zich in het tussenlid; de kopgevel bevat twee gereconstrueerde twaalfruitsschuifvensters, waarboven een gedenksteen met inscriptie uit de bouwtijd. In de lange zuidgevel een vijftal negenruitsschuifvensters, waarboven een gedenksteen met inscriptie uit de bouwtijd. Description
Connected to the N.H. Church by means of a linking section, a brick building of one storey beneath a gabled roof covered with blue tiles between recessed spout gables with rod anchors, originally intended as a schoolhouse and presumably dating from the 18th century. The main entrance - with double panelled doors - is located in the linking section; the gable end contains two reconstructed twelve-pane sash windows, above which a commemorative stone with inscription from the time of construction. In the long south facade five nine-pane sash windows; above these a commemorative stone with inscription from the time of construction. In the east gable two fifteen-pane sash windows. The north gable is, apart from a side door, virtually blank.
Late 18th-century village schoolhouse of sober architecture and of importance solely as an outbuilding of the already protected N.H. Church.
