Omschrijving
Uit 1875 daterende, ronde, conische, gietijzeren vuurtoren (lage licht) naar ontwerp van Q. Harder en uitgevoerd door gieterij Nering Bögel. De toren is 11.50 meter hoog, heeft een betonnen fundament, waarin ingegoten de tekst: "de Eerste steen gelegd door M.M. van Hoff, Burgemeester van Westkapelle, 18 november 1875". is rood geschilderd met een witte horizontale band en heeft 4 etages. Rond het gietijzeren lichthuis met koperen koepel bevindt zich een omloop rustend op opengewerkte, gietijzeren consoles en voorzien van balustrade Toegangsdeur met halfrond bovenlicht, 6 ronde vensteropeningen met cirkeltracering, eenvoudige gietijzeren trappen en geen middenkolommen onder de vloeren.

Description
Dating from 1875, a round, conical, cast-iron lighthouse (low light) designed by Q. Harder and executed by the Nering Bögel foundry. The tower is 11.50 metres high, has a concrete foundation, in which is cast the text: "the First stone laid by M.M. van Hoff, Burgemeester of Westkapelle, 18 November 1875". It is painted red with a white horizontal band and has 4 storeys. Around the cast-iron lantern house with copper dome is a walkway resting on openwork cast-iron consoles and provided with a balustrade. Entrance door with semicircular fanlight, 6 round window openings with circle tracery, simple cast-iron stairs and no central columns under the floors.
