Uit 1837-1840 daterende, ronde, bakstenen vuurtoren op hardstenen plint, met halfronde ombouw zonder verdieping en onder lessenaardak rond de voorste helft van de torenvoet, met hardstenen bordes en traptreden (gedeeltelijk), met slagen ijzeren ribbalken en gietijzeren hoofdbalken en vloerplaten, waarop hardstenen tegelvloeren. De door L.Valk ontworpen toren is 47 m. hoog, is thans wit geschilderd met brede rode spiraalvormige band en heeft twee verdiepingen in het bovengedeelte. De taps toelopende toren heeft een "kapiteel" met fries van spitsboognissen, waarvan twee met venster, heeft in de schacht enige spitsboogvensters, in de halfronde ombouw in het met fronton bekroond middenrisaliet een dubbele deur met spitsboogvormig bovenlicht voorzien van 6-ruits tracering en voorts vier 4-ruits vensters met spitsboogvormig bovenlicht voorzien van 3-ruits tracering en aan de achterzijde een deur met spitsboogvormig bovenlicht voorzien van 6-ruits tracering. Op de toren een koperen lichthuis met koperen koepel. In het voorportaal een marmeren gedenksteen.

Description
Dating from 1837-1840, a round, brick lighthouse on a hard stone plinth, with semicircular enclosure without storey and under a sloping roof around the front half of the tower base, with hard stone platforms and steps (partially), with bolted iron ribs and cast-iron main beams and floor plates, upon which hard stone tile floors. The tower designed by L. Valk is 47 m. high, is now painted white with a broad red spiral band and has two storeys in the upper section. The tapering tower has a "capital" with frieze of pointed-arch recesses, two of which have windows, has in the shaft some pointed-arch windows, in the semicircular enclosure in the central risalit crowned with a pediment a double door with pointed-arch shaped fanlight furnished with 6-pane tracery and furthermore four 4-pane windows with pointed-arch shaped fanlight furnished with 3-pane tracery and at the rear a door with pointed-arch shaped fanlight furnished with 6-pane tracery. On the tower a copper light room with copper dome. In the entrance hall a marble commemorative stone.
