Omschrijving
Herv. Kerk. In 1939-'42 gerestaureerde geheel overwelfde romano-gotische kerk, waarvan het koor bij die gelegenheid is toegevoegd; toren nog iets ouder d.w.z. vroeg 13e eeuws. Op twee gewelfvelden oorspronkelijke beschildering. Inwendig rijk gesneden preekstoel met achterschot en klankbord, 1773; doophek; epitaaf Eminga-Sjaerda; grafzerk 1595, een uit 1611 en 1629, een uit 1688. Eenklaviers orgel in 1907 gemaakt door Bakker en Timmenga. Klokkenstoel met klok van J., F. en T. Simonsz?, 1616, diam. 90 cm. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk, 17e eeuw, is in 1953 geautomatiseerd.

Reformed Church. Fully vaulted Romanesque-Gothic church restored in 1939-'42, of which the choir was added on that occasion; tower somewhat older, i.e. early 13th-century. Original painting on two vault fields. Interior richly carved pulpit with sound board and sounding board, 1773; baptismal gate; epitaph Eminga-Sjaerda; tombstone 1595, one from 1611 and 1629, one from 1688. Single-manual organ made in 1907 by Bakker and Timmenga. Bell frame with bell by J., F. and T. Simonsz?, 1616, diam. 90 cm. Mechanical wrought-iron tower clock, 17th century, automated in 1953.
