Omschrijving
Herv. Kerk. Op een door een ringweg omgeven terp gelegen kerkje, waarvan het schip in 1808 opgetrokken is. De toren vormt een restant van een z.g. gereduceerd westwerk blijkens de gedichte doorgangen die zich aan de noord- en zuidgevel aftekenen. Inwendig eenvoudige 17e eeuwse preekstoel met achterschot en klankbord. Kabinetorgel met een klavier. In 1924 vanuit Leeuwarden door Bakker en Timmenga geplaatst in Foudgum. Bij de laatste restauratie in 1989 werden de deuren van de orgelkas gereconstrueerd. De gewijzigde aanleg van de Klaviatuur en registratuur bleef gehandhaafd. Drie 18e eeuwse zerken. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van anonieme gieter uit 1395, diam. 84 cm. en één van J.N. Derck, 1732, diam. 68 cm. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk, in de bovenrand: ANNO 1641, is in 1978 gerestaureerd en geautomatiseerd.

Description
Reformed Church. Small church situated on a terp surrounded by a ring road, of which the nave was erected in 1808. The tower forms a remnant of a so-called reduced westwork as evidenced by the blocked passages that are outlined on the north and south facades. Interior simple 17th-century pulpit with sound board and sounding board. Cabinet organ with one manual. In 1924 placed in Foudgum from Leeuwarden by Bakker and Timmenga. At the last restoration in 1989 the doors of the organ case were reconstructed. The modified arrangement of the keyboard and stops remained unchanged. Three 18th-century tombstones. Bell frame with two bells, one by anonymous founder from 1395, diam. 84 cm. and one by J.N. Derck, 1732, diam. 68 cm. Mechanical wrought-iron tower clock, on the upper edge: ANNO 1641, restored and automated in 1978.
