Omschrijving
Witgepleisterd pand met verdieping onder schilddak, de verdiepingen een omlopend cordonlijst. Kroonlijst omlopend. Zesruitsschuifvensters in geprofileerde omlijstingen in voor- en achtergevel. Deuromlijsting met hoofdgestel in voorgevel. Aan linkerzijde voorgevel een uitbouw met 2 verdiepingen - thans plat afgedekt - voorzien van een rondomlopende kroonlijst. Deze uitbouw maakte mogelijk deel uit van het uit ca.1350 daterende kasteel van de Heren van Wassenaar, die het ca.1420 hebben geschonken aan het geslacht van Cralingen. Het hoofdgedeelte van het pand is sinds 1612 in gebruik als pastorie en werd in 1796 verbouwd uit welke tijd de huidige architectuur thans voornamelijk afkomstig is. Inwendig zware moer- en kinderbalken (beneden) en halfrond beëindigde schouw met consoles (op verdieping). Onder de pastorie en aangrenzende percelen bevinden zich nog grote gewelfkelders en andere resten van het voormalige kasteel. 18e eeuws schuurtje onder pannen zadeldak tussen puntgevels met vlechtingen.

Description
Whitewashed property with storey under hipped roof, the storeys with an encircling string course. Encircling cornice. Six-pane sash windows in moulded frames in front and rear gables. Door frame with main entablature in front gable. On the left side of the front gable an extension with 2 storeys - now flat covered - provided with an all-round cornice. This extension may possibly have been part of the castle of the Lords of Wassenaar dating from ca.1350, which they donated ca.1420 to the Cralingen family. The main part of the property has been in use as a rectory since 1612 and was rebuilt in 1796, from which time the present architecture is now mainly derived. Internally heavy main beams and joists (below) and semi-circular ended chimney with consoles (on storey). Under the rectory and adjacent plots there are still large vaulted cellars and other remains of the former castle. 18th century small barn under tiled saddle roof between pointed gables with wattle.
