IJsselbatterijen. Op de westelijke IJsseloever in de Wilpse Klei gelegen "Posten of Batterijen aan het Bommerholt", drie reeds in de 18e eeuw bestaande aarden verhogingen, die tot 1940 deel uitgemaakt hebben van de verdedigingslinie langs de IJssel en oudtijds behoorden tot de z.g. "IJsselfrontier".

IJssel Batteries. Situated on the western IJssel bank in the Wilpse Klei, "Posts or Batteries at the Bommerholt", three earthen elevations already existing in the 18th century, which until 1940 formed part of the defence line along the IJssel and in former times belonged to the so-called "IJssel frontier".
