Omschrijving
De Ned. Herv. KERK bestaat uit eenvoudig 16e eeuws schip, verbouwd in 1611. Het koor is afgebroken. Inwendig: spaarnissen onder de vensters. Eikenhouten preekstoel (XVII B). De sterk hellende 14e eeuwse toren telt drie geledingen. Ter weerszijden van de spitsboog boven de ingang nisjes met bakstenen driepasjes, die eveneens voorkomen aan een fries van de ronde traptoren, waarvan het muurwerk verlevendigd is met verglaasde koppen. Waarschijnlijk zijn eerst in de 16e eeuw de steunberen toegevoegd, de klokkenverdieping verhoogd en de ingang gewijzigd. In de toren is het stenen gewelf uitgebroken; de muurkolonnetten hiervan zijn voorzien van kleine kapiteeltjes. Klokkenstoel met klok van Johannes Burgerhuys, 1613, diam. 70 cm. Lager in de toren staat in een uurwerkkast een mechanisch torenuurwerk, volgens naamplaat: B. Eijsbouts, 1922, buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
The Dutch Reformed CHURCH consists of a simple 16th century nave, rebuilt in 1611. The choir has been demolished. Interior: sparnishes under the windows. Oak pulpit (second half of the 17th century). The steeply leaning 14th century tower has three storeys. On either side of the pointed arch above the entrance are niches with brick trefoil motifs, which also appear on a frieze of the round staircase tower, whose masonry is enlivened with glazed heads. Buttresses were probably added first in the 16th century, the bell storey heightened and the entrance modified. In the tower the stone vault has been broken through; the wall colonnettes of this are provided with small capitals. Bell frame with bell by Johannes Burgerhuys, 1613, diam. 70 cm. Lower in the tower stands a mechanical tower clock in a clock case, according to nameplate: B. Eijsbouts, 1922, out of service.
