Omschrijving
Sint Janskerk. Laatgotisch koor met driezijdige sluiting, XVI A. Inwendig kraagstenen met gebeeldhouwde koppen en als sluitstuk van het gewelf een houten (?) borstbeeld van St. Jan de Doper. Gewelfschilderingen. Enige ruitjes van gebrandschilderd glas: respectievelijk geschonken door: 1) het echtpaar Schenck van Nydeggen x Roemer; 2) door het echtpaar Jan van Lent x Maria Rutie, 1666, 3) door Albertina van Schagen, vrouwe van Geysteren en Oostrum, 1666; 4) door het echtpaar Paulus van Paderborn x Isabella Maer van Lockere; 5) door Thyske Jans, weduwe van Janszoon, 1668. Tot de inventaris behoren o.a. :Crucifix , XVIa, madonnabeeld, XVIa en drie beelden van St. Jan de Doper, resp. XV,XVI en XIXa.

Description
Sint Jan Church. Late Gothic choir with three-sided closure, first half of the 16th century. Internally corbel stones with sculptured heads and as the keystone of the vault a wooden (?) bust of St. John the Baptist. Vault paintings. Some panes of stained glass: respectively given by: 1) the married couple Schenck van Nydeggen x Roemer; 2) by the married couple Jan van Lent x Maria Rutie, 1666, 3) by Albertina van Schagen, lady of Geysteren and Oostrum, 1666; 4) by the married couple Paulus van Paderborn x Isabella Maer van Lockere; 5) by Thyske Jans, widow of Janszoon, 1668. The inventory includes among other things: Crucifix, first half of the 16th century, Madonna figure, first half of the 16th century and three figures of St. John the Baptist, respectively 15th, 16th and first half of the 19th century.
