Verdedigingswerk, onderdeel van de vesting Veere, restanten van de in omstreeks 1500 aangelegd en later herhaaldelijk vernieuwde zeefortificatie, bestaande uit de stenen walmuren vanaf de Campveerse toren tot aan de ingang van het Kanaal door Walcheren en langs het Kanaal door Walcheren tot de busparkeerplaats bij de Kanaalweg W.Z. Aan de stenen walmuur zijn in later tijd aardwerken toegevoegd, die, zij het niet meer in oorspronkelijke vorm, nog aanwezig zijn.

Description
Fortification, component of the fortress Veere, remains of the sea fortification laid out around 1500 and later repeatedly renewed, consisting of the stone rampart walls from the Campveerse tower to the entrance of the Canal through Walcheren and along the Canal through Walcheren to the bus parking area at the Kanaalweg W.Z. To the stone rampart walls earthen works have been added in later times, which, though not in their original form, are still present.
