Verdedigingswerk, onderdeel van de vesting Veere. De vestingwerken, aangelegd in de periode 1570-1600 bestaande uit de vestingwal tussen de havenmond en de Veerseweg, met Molenbolwerk en Oranjebolwerk en voorliggende gracht met beer, monnik en poterne, restanten van de zuidelijke vestingwal uit die periode met gracht en contrescarp.

Fortification, component of the fortress Veere. The fortifications, constructed in the period 1570-1600 consisting of the fortification wall between the harbour mouth and the Veerseweg, with Molenbolwerk and Oranjebolwerk and foreground ditch with counterscarp, monk and postern, remains of the southern fortification wall from that period with ditch and counterscarp.
