Omschrijving
Fontein bij de kerk. Elegant achthoekig schuurstenen gebouwtje, dienend als overdekking van de ronde stenen put (vergaarplaats van het gootwater der O.L.Vrouwekerk) en gebouwd in 1541, overdekt 1551. Het straalgewelf rust aan de vijf open zijden van de achthoek met Tudorbogen op slanke zuilen. In een der drie gesloten zijden is het gebeeldhouwde wapen van Veere aangebracht.

Description
Fountain by the church. Elegant octagonal brick small building, serving as a covering for the round stone well (collection point for the gutter water of the O.L.Vrouwekerk) and built in 1541, covered in 1551. The radiating vault rests at the five open sides of the octagon with Tudor arches on slender columns. In one of the three closed sides the sculptured coat of arms of Veere is displayed.
