Hotel de Wereld.
HERENHUIS uit het derde kwart van de 19e eeuw met verdieping en omlopend schilddak. De eenvoudige, bakstenen gevels hebben hoekdammen en aan de voorzijde een risaliet, waarboven de houten kroonlijst is omgekornist. De bovenvensters hebben hun zesdelige schuiframen uit de bouwtijd bewaard. Aan de oostzijde een haaks op het oudere deel geplaatste lagere vleugel (omstreeks 1865), die een verdieping hoger is, in de risaliet gesneden consoles onder de kroonlijst en vensters met afgeronde bovenhoeken heeft.
Hotel de Wereld kreeg bekendheid, doordat hier in 1945 de capitulatiebespreking met de Duitse strijdkrachten in Nederland plaatsvond.

GENTLEMAN'S HOUSE from the third quarter of the 19th century with upper storey and surrounding hipped roof. The simple brick facades have corner quoins and at the front a risalit, above which the wooden cornice is moulded. The upper windows have retained their six-part sash windows from the time of construction. On the east side a lower wing placed at right angles to the older part (around 1865), which is one storey higher, has consoles cut into the risalit beneath the cornice and windows with rounded upper corners.
Hotel de Wereld became well-known because the capitulation discussion with German armed forces in the Netherlands took place here in 1945.
