Omschrijving
De Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk heeft een eenbeukig schip (vijftiende eeuw) met spitsboogvensters tussen de steunberen. Portaal aan de zuidzijde; het koor is verdwenen en een nieuwe consistoriekamer is aangebouwd. Inwendig: zuilen in noordmuur met Brabantse koolbladkapitelen zijn overblijfselen van een zijbeuk uit plm 1500. zeventiende-eeuwse kuip van preekstoel. Op de orgelgalerij het vroeg achtiende-eeuwse orgel uit de hervormde Kerk te Heerlen. De toren van twee geledingen en met steunberen op de hoeken dateert uit omstreeks 1400 en is gedeeltelijk verzonken. De gewolfde benedenruimte is bij de kerkruimte getrokken; de spaarvelden die er het muurwerk verlevendigen gedeeltelijk onder de vloer verzonken. Eenklaviers orgel, eind zeventiende eeuw gemaakt door een onbekende orgelmaker. In 1951 gerestaureerd waarbij al het pijpwerk werd vervangen. Description
The Dutch Reformed Church has a single-aisle nave (fifteenth century) with pointed arch windows between the buttresses. Porch on the south side; the choir has disappeared and a new vestry room has been added. Interior: columns in north wall with Brabantine foliage capitals are remains of a side aisle from approximately 1500. Seventeenth-century pulpit tub. On the organ gallery the early eighteenth-century organ from the reformed Church at Heerlen. The tower of two storeys and with buttresses at the corners dates from around 1400 and is partially sunken. The vaulted lower space has been incorporated into the church space; the spandrels that enliven the masonry are partially sunken below the floor. Single-manual organ, made late seventeenth century by an unknown organ maker. In 1951 restored whereby all the pipework was replaced. Bell frame with bell by Johannes Burgerhuys, 1662, diam. 98 cm. Mechanical tower clock, electric winding, is out of service.
