23. HOOFDWACHT. (Grote Markt 6) Nagenoeg vierkant stenen gebouw met middenrisaliet, twee verdiepingen en een met leien gedekte kap met plat(1784).
Aan de voorzijde een open galerij met gemetselde pijlers; daarnaast twee getoogde ramen en twee lantaarns. Van de frontgevel is het begane grondgedeelte bekleed met natuursteen en voorzien van een cordonband; de eerste en tweede verdieping hebben in front vijf ramen. Boven de frontgevel een kroonlijst met in het midden een driehoekig fronton met gesneden wapen.

23. GUARDHOUSE. (Grote Markt 6) Nearly square stone building with a central risalit, two storeys and a roof covered with slate with flat (1784).
At the front an open gallery with brick piers; next to it two arched windows and two lanterns. Of the front facade the ground storey section is faced with natural stone and provided with a string course; the first and second storeys have five windows in front. Above the front facade a cornice with in the centre a triangular pediment with carved coat of arms.
