Omschrijving
Jacobikerk en Jacobitoren. Bakstenen driebeukige hallenkerk met toren welke met natuursteen bekleed is. 13e eeuwse kruiskerk in 15e eeuw verbouwd, koor en zuiderzijbeuk voor 1487 voltooid. Orgel. In de hoofdkas, die ten dele nog dateert uit de tweede helft 15e eeuw met 19e eeuwse ornamentiek, heeft R. Garrels in 1740 een nieuw Hoofdwerk en Pedaal geplaatst met gebruikmaking van ouder pijpwerk. Het oude Rugwerk werd in 1813 vervangen door een rugwerk van A. Meere. De toestand 1740/1813 werd bij de laatste restauratie in 1978 hersteld. Kabinetorgel, waarschijnlijk vervaardigd door H. Hess in 1774. In 2003 aan de Jacobikerk geschonken. Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van S. Butendiic, 1479, diam. 182 cm en ? moderne klokken. Mechanisch torenuurwerk van Eijsbouts, 1950, voorzien van elektrische opwinding. De kerk draagt twee zuidwijzers, namelijk één van roodbruine zandsteen boven het ingangsportaal, de tweede, een koperen zuidwijzer op de topgevel van het zuider dwarsschip.

Jacobikerk and Jacobitoren. Brick three-aisle hall church with tower which is clad with ashlar. 13th century cruciform church remodelled in 15th century, choir and south aisle completed before 1487. Organ. In the main case, which partly still dates from the second half of the 15th century with 19th century ornamentation, R. Garrels in 1740 installed a new Great Work and Pedal making use of older pipework. The old Back Work was replaced in 1813 by a back work by A. Meere. The condition 1740/1813 was restored at the last restoration in 1978. Cabinet organ, probably made by H. Hess in 1774. Presented to the Jacobikerk in 2003. Bell frame with bell consisting of a bell by S. Butendiic, 1479, diam. 182 cm and ? modern bells. Mechanical tower clock by Eijsbouts, 1950, equipped with electric winding. The church bears two sundials, namely one of reddish-brown sandstone above the entrance portal, the second, a copper sundial on the roof gable of the south transept.
