Omschrijving
Kapittelhuis met groot auditorium der Rijksuniversiteit; XVe eeuw. Voorheen kapittelzaal van de Dom, waar Unie van Utrecht in 1579 gesloten werd. Topgevel aan de Oostzijde met blind boogvenster met traceerwerk en traptoren. Van oorsprong eenklaviers orgel, in 1738 gemaakt door A.A. Hinsz voor de Lutherse Kerk te Deventer. In 1963 gerestaureerd en uitgebreid met een Rugwerk en een vrij Pedaal door Flentrop Orgelbouw. De toevoegingen vallen buiten de bescherming.

Description
Chapter house with large auditorium of the State University; 15th century. Formerly chapter hall of the Dom, where Union of Utrecht was concluded in 1579. Gabled facade on the east side with blind arched window with tracery work and stair turret. Originally single-manual organ, made in 1738 by A.A. Hinsz for the Lutheran Church at Deventer. In 1963 restored and extended with a Rückpositiv and a free Pedal by Flentrop Orgelbouw. The additions fall outside the protection.
