Omschrijving
"Kasteelsche Hof" of Kasteel Ooy. Van het in 1797 afgebroken kasteel zijn in het weiland achter de voorburcht nog resten aanwezig. Van de omgrachte voorburcht zijn bewaard gebleven: a) het z.g. Gouverneurshuis, een gewit, rechthoekig gebouw met verdieping en schilddak, blijkens jaartalankers in een der zijgevels uit 1514. Getoogde poort met blokken in de omlijsting, sierankers en vensters met 19e eeuwse schuiframen. Het rechter gedeelte na 1950 wegens bouwvalligheid grotendeels gesloopt. b) Een stalgebouw, omstreeks 1700, met pannen schilddak en getoogde poort in omlijsting van pilasters met hoofdgestel, alles in baksteen uitgevoerd. In 1944 ten dele verwoest en in 1950 gedeeltelijk herbouwd, waarbij het deel rechts van de poort in gewijzigde vorm als boerderij in quasi-oude trant werd opgetrokken. c). Nabij het stalgebouw een duiventoren met rond onderstuk en achthoekige bovenbouw, omstreeks 1700, bij de restauratie in 1950 van een spits voorzien. d). Muurfragmenten, waarschijnlijk 16e eeuw, bij het stalgebouw.

Description
"Kasteelsche Hof" or Kasteel Ooy. Of the castle demolished in 1797, remains are still present in the meadow behind the outer ward. Of the moated outer ward the following have been preserved: a) the so-called Gouverneurshuis, a whitewashed, rectangular building with a storey and hipped roof, as evidenced by date anchors in one of the side gables from 1514. Arched gateway with blocks in the surround, ornamental wall anchors and windows with 19th-century sash frames. The right section was largely demolished after 1950 due to dilapidation. b) A stable building, circa 1700, with tiled hipped roof and arched gateway in a surround of pilasters with capitals, all executed in brickwork. Partly destroyed in 1944 and partially rebuilt in 1950, whereby the section to the right of the gateway was constructed in modified form as a farmhouse in quasi-old style. c) Near the stable building a dovecote with round base and octagonal upper section, circa 1700, provided with a spire during restoration in 1950. d) Wall fragments, probably 16th century, near the stable building.
