Omschrijving
Herv. Kerk en toren, gelegen op een kerkhof. Bakstenen kerk uit de 13e eeuw blijkens kenmerken der romano-gotiek, zoals uitwendig het keperfries langs de bovenzijde der muren en inwendig de gewelven met ribben die in een ring samenkomen; halfronde koorsluiting en wat oudere rijzige toren. De kerk bezit een 17e eeuwse preekstoelkuip en een kraak uit 1677. Lijkbaar uit 1713. Eenklaviers mechanisch orgel, vermoedelijk gemaakt als schuilkerkorgel door C. Hoornbeek ca. 1715, in 2008 overgeplaatst vanuit de Geref. kerk te Jistrum en bij die gelegenheid gerestaureerd door de firma Bakker & Timmenga uit Leeuwarden.

Description
Reformed Church and tower, situated on a churchyard. Brick church from the 13th century as evidenced by characteristics of Romanesque-Gothic, such as externally the checkerboard frieze along the top of the walls and internally the vaults with ribs that meet in a ring; semi-circular choir closure and somewhat older tall tower. The church possesses a 17th-century pulpit bowl and a rood screen from 1677. Bier from 1713. Single-manual mechanical organ, presumably made as a hidden church organ by C. Hoornbeek ca. 1715, relocated in 2008 from the Reformed church at Jistrum and on that occasion restored by the firm Bakker & Timmenga from Leeuwarden.
