Omschrijving
Uit 1863-1864 daterende, ronde, conische, bakstenen vuurtoren naar ontwerp van Q.Harder. De toren is 27 m.hoog, heeft 7 etages (oorspronkelijk 9) en is rood beschilderd. In 1907 voorzien van een gietijzeren kuip. In 1948-1949 werd er om de oude toren een mantel gemetseld en een betonnen bovenbouw aangebracht. In 1971 werden de mantel van metselwerk en de betonnen bovenbouw voorzien van een gespoten cementlaag. Vloedbalken van welijzer en trappen van gietijzer.

Description
Dating from 1863-1864, a round, conical, brick lighthouse designed by Q. Harder. The tower is 27 m. high, has 7 storeys (originally 9) and is painted red. In 1907 it was fitted with a cast-iron cupola. In 1948-1949 a mantle was built around the old tower and a concrete superstructure was added. In 1971 the masonry mantle and the concrete superstructure were given a sprayed cement coating. Floodgates of wrought iron and stairs of cast iron.
