Omschrijving
St. Dionysiuskerk. Gelegen op een steile punt van de hoge oever van het winterbed van de Maas, op de plaats van een Frankische burcht. Schip en smaller koor, XV, oostelijke toren, na 1515, en westelijke uitbreiding uit 1916-'18 van P.J.H. Cuypers. Overwelving van de romaanse gedeelten, XIII. Inventaris: o.a. romaanse doopvont, kerkbanken. Houten beelden: kleine calvarie, ca. 1606; Mariabeeld, XVII; H. Hubertus, XVIII; H. Petrus en H. Paulus, ca. 1700; enige figuren can een renaissance-altaar; mensa (in krocht) en 3 grafkruisen (1558, 1616 en 1618). Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van anonieme gieter, 1622, diam. 56 cm en een klok van C. Deforest, N. Simon en C. Drouot, 1790, diam. 64 cm.

Description
St. Dionysius Church. Located on a steep point of the high bank of the winter bed of the Meuse, on the site of a Frankish castle. Nave and narrower choir, 15th century, eastern tower after 1515, and western extension from 1916-'18 by P.J.H. Cuypers. Vaulting of the Romanesque sections, 13th century. Inventory: among other things Romanesque baptismal font, church benches. Wooden figures: small Calvary, ca. 1606; statue of Mary, 17th century; St. Hubertus, 18th century; St. Peter and St. Paul, ca. 1700; some figures from a Renaissance altar; mensa (in crypt) and 3 grave crosses (1558, 1616 and 1618). Bell frame with bells consisting of a bell by anonymous founder, 1622, diam. 56 cm and a bell by C. Deforest, N. Simon and C. Drouot, 1790, diam. 64 cm.
