Omschrijving
Oude Rooms-Katholieke Kerk met ommuurde terp. Bakstenen gebouw uit 1793; eenbeukig schip, ingebouwde westtoren (1841) en smaller koor met driezijdige sluiting. Zeer schilderachtig gelegen op een ommuurd kerkhof. Eikenhouten klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit twee klokken van anonieme gieters, resp. uit 1506, diam. 88 cm en uit 1494, diam 100 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, B. Eijsbouts, 1936, voorzien van elektrische opwinding. De terp wordt geheel omkleed door een hoge bakstenen ommuring, daterend uit het midden van de 17de eeuw, die door steunberen wordt versterkt en voorzien is van een opgang.

Description
Old Roman Catholic Church with walled terp. Brick building from 1793; single-aisle nave, built-in west tower (1841) and narrower choir with three-sided termination. Very picturesque situated on a walled churchyard. Oak wooden bell frame with bell-ringing consisting of two bells of anonymous founders, respectively from 1506, diam. 88 cm and from 1494, diam. 100 cm. Mechanical tower clock, B. Eijsbouts, 1936, provided with electric winding. The terp is entirely clad by a high brick walling, dating from the middle of the 17th century, which is reinforced by buttresses and provided with access stairs.
