An 18th-century farmhouse with courtyard, partly timber-framed and partly of ashlar masonry, with a low storey at the dwelling section and covered below with red Dutch tile gabled roofs. The dwelling section (ridge parallel to street) on the S.E. side is constructed of ashlar masonry with plastered base and has on the N.W. facade at ground level two sets of coupled hardstone windows with arch lintels and 6-light casement windows, a kitchen door and window, and on the upper storey two arched hardstone windows with 6-light casement windows and two brick arched windows with 4-light casement windows. Perpendicular to this and attached to it a wholly whitewashed timber-framed barn (bays filled with clay) with black plinth; timber-framing partly replaced by masonry; in the N.E. facade closed double doors and a stable door. On the N.W. side a timber-framed barn (ridge parallel to street) bays filled with brick. Adjacent to this on the N.E. side a barn under lean-to roof and subsequently, adjoining the dwelling house, the closed entrance gate. On account of the principal form, the construction, the use of materials and the integrity, a fine and representative example of an 18th-century closed Limburgish farmhouse, partly timber-framed, and as such of significance from the point of view of archaeological and ethnological value.
