Omschrijving
KAPEL, thans Hervormde kerk. Gotisch, bakstenen zaalkerkje (XV) met driezijdige sluiting, steunberen en gedrukte spitsboogvensters. Portaaluitbouw tegen de westgevel. Tegen het, oorspronkelijk waarschijnlijk in steen overwelfde, schip was vroeger aan de noordzijde een zijbeuk aanwezig. De kap en het vierkante klokkentorentje zijn gebouwd na een stadsbrand in 1633. De kapel, die zeer verwaarloosd was en bij de inrichting tot school in 1842 geheel verbouwd, heeft door een ingrijpende restauratie in 1960-'61 haar oorspronkelijke uiterlijk grotendeels herkregen. Kabinetorgel, ca. 1730, vermoedelijk gemaakt door A.A. Hinsz. In de dakruiter een klok van een anonieme gieter, 1658, diam. 45 cm.

Description
CHAPEL, now Reformed church. Gothic, brick hall church (XV) with three-sided closure, buttresses and depressed pointed arch windows. Portico extension against the west facade. Against the nave, originally probably barrel-vaulted in stone, a side aisle was formerly present on the north side. The roof and the square bell-tower were built after a city fire in 1633. The chapel, which was very neglected and entirely rebuilt in the fitting-out as school in 1842, has through a major restoration in 1960-'61 largely regained its original appearance. Cabinet organ, ca. 1730, presumably made by A.A. Hinsz. In the roof turret a bell by an anonymous bell-founder, 1658, diam. 45 cm.
