Omschrijving
Dubbele schuur van oorsprong identiek. Vanwege de slechte bouwkundige staat is de linker schuur in 1982 gereconstrueerd. De rechter schuur is vervangen in de jaren twintig van de 20e eeuw. Beide schuren behoorden van oorsprong bij het Hoge Huis en geven uitdrukking aan de historie van het Hoge huis in brede zin waarvan de agrarische bedrijfsvoering een onderdeel was. De schuren zijn met name van belang vanwege de agrarische karakteristiek als onderdeel van de cultuurhistorische waarde van het hoge huis en het beschermde gezicht van Bronkhorst.
De linker schuur met rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit een bouwlaag afgedekt door een grotendeels met riet gedekt afgewolfd zadeldak. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in kruisverband met in de linker zijgevel drie ijzeren zesruits segmentboogvormige stalramen. In de voorgevel bevindt zich uiterst links en rechts een naar buiten draaiende houten geklampte staldeur met centraal een dubbele geklampte naar binnen draaiende deur met stenen schampstenen afgesloten door een latei waarboven een rollaag. De gevel eindigt in een risalerende, naar voren hellende, beschoten topgevel. De achtergevel is vrijwel identiek aan de voorgevel met uitzondering van de beëindiging van de gevel voorzien van vlechtingen, windveren en een wolfseind met uilebord. De rechter zijgevel is niet aanwezig vanwege de verbinding met de ernaast gelegen schuur. In het interieur bevindt zich een driebeukige structuur opgebouwd met vijf eiken ankerbalkgebinten op een stenen poer en een vloer van klinkerbestrating. In de linker zijbeuk een houten hilde en een houten steektrap naar de zolder. Op de dekbalk van het ankerbalkgebint is een houten vloer aangebracht. De zolder wordt afgesloten door een ongeïsoleerde sporenkap en is voorzien van een moderne hijsinstallatie.
De rechter schuur met rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit een bouwlaag afgedekt door een zadeldak deels bedekt met verbeterde rode pannen, deels met asbest. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in kruisverband waarvan de achtergevel is gecementeerd. In de rechter zijgevel vier ijzeren zesruits stalramen. Centraal in de voorgevel, op de begane grond, een recht gesloten naar binnen draaiende dubbele deur met uiterst rechts een naar buiten draaiende staldeur. Links in de topgevel een hooiluik met in de top een rondvenster. De topgevel wordt afgesloten door een rollaag met tandlijst. De achtergevel is vrijwel identiek aan de voorgevel met uitzondering van het luik rechts in de gevel in plaats van links. De rechter schuur grijpt deels in de linker schuur waardoor er geen scheidingsmuur aanwezig is. De staanders van de gebinten van de rechter schuur staan hier direct naast de staanders van de linker schuur. In de middenbeuk een klinkerbestrating met in de zijbeuken recente stallen. De kap eindigt in een sporenkap.

Description
Double barn originally identical. Due to poor structural condition the left barn was reconstructed in 1982. The right barn was replaced in the nineteen twenties of the 20th century. Both barns originally belonged to the Hoge Huis and express the history of the Hoge Huis in the broader sense of which the agricultural business operations were a part. The barns are particularly important because of the agricultural character as part of the cultural-historical value of the Hoge Huis and the protected appearance of Bronkhorst.
The left barn with rectangular ground plan consists of one storey covered by a largely thatch-covered arched gabled roof. The facades are constructed in cross-bond with in the left side facade three iron six-light segmental arch-shaped stable windows. In the front facade at the far left and right an outward-opening wooden cramped stable door with centrally a double cramped inward-opening door with stone scampering closed off by a lintel above which a roll moulding. The facade ends in a projecting, forward-leaning, boarded top gable. The rear facade is virtually identical to the front facade with the exception of the termination of the facade furnished with wattling, wind bracing and a half-hipped end with owl board. The right side facade is not present due to the connection with the adjoining barn. In the interior there is a three-aisle structure constructed with five oak tie-beam frames on a stone plinth and a floor of clinker paving. In the left side aisle a wooden hilde and a wooden step ladder to the attic. On the tie beam of the tie-beam frame a wooden floor is fitted. The attic is closed off by an uninsulated rafter roof and is fitted with a modern hoisting installation.
The right barn with rectangular ground plan consists of one storey covered by a gabled roof partly covered with improved red tiles, partly with asbestos. The facades are constructed in cross-bond of which the rear facade is cemented. In the right side facade four iron six-light stable windows. Centrally in the front facade, on the ground floor, a straight closed inward-opening double door with at the far right an outward-opening stable door. To the left in the top gable a hay door with in the peak a round window. The top gable is closed off by a roll moulding with tooth moulding. The rear facade is virtually identical to the front facade with the exception of the shutter to the right in the facade instead of to the left. The right barn partly engages the left barn so that there is no dividing wall present. The posts of the frames of the right barn stand here directly next to the posts of the left barn. In the middle aisle clinker paving with in the side aisles recent stalls. The roof ends in a rafter roof.
