Omschrijving
ARSENAAL met Arsenaalterrein. Sober rechthoekig gebouw onder schilddak.
Bakstenen gevels met omlopende houten kroonlijst en, in de smalle gevel aan de Buitenhaven, poort in getoogde, natuurstenen omlijsting met jaartal: 1781.
In de lange zijgevels middenrisalieten, in baksteen gebosseerd en op de hoeken eveneens in baksteen gebosseerde dammen.
Vensters met hardstenen dorpels en kleine roedenverdeling.
Inwendig een steektrap met balustrade uit de bouwtijd.
Aan weerszijden van de poort een als schamppaal dienende kanonsloop.
Rechts en links van het Arsenaal getoogde poortjes met in baksteen gebosseerde zijpilasters.

Brick facades with surrounding wooden cornice and, in the narrow facade facing the Buitenhaven, gateway in arched natural stone surround with date: 1781.
In the long side facades central risalits, in brick rustication and at the corners likewise in brick rusticated buttresses.
Windows with sandstone sills and small glazing bars.
Internally a straight stair with balustrade from the construction period.
On either side of the gateway a cannon barrel serving as bollard.
