OUDE VEST. Restant van de middeleeuwse vestinggracht ter breedte van 10 tot 15 meter, gelegen buiten het zuidelijk deel van de hoofdgracht, volgens een halfcirkelvormig beloop. De gracht kruist de Nieuwpoortseweg op pl.m. 200 meter ten zuiden van de Alblasserwaardse Poort. Van perceel A 205 uitsluitend het deel, grenzend aan perceel A 1. Van perceel A 6 niet het deel, grenzend aan de westgrens van perceel A 9.

Description
OLD RAMPART. Remnant of the medieval fortification moat approximately 10 to 15 metres wide, located outside the southern part of the main moat, following a semicircular course. The moat crosses the Nieuwpoortseweg at approximately 200 metres south of the Alblasserwaard Gate. Of plot A 205 only the part bordering on plot A 1. Of plot A 6 not the part bordering on the western boundary of plot A 9.
