NOORDWESTELIJKE REEKS MIDDENSTANDSWONINGEN. Drie bouwlagen hoge reeks uit 1926-28 met boven- en benedenwoningen, waarbij de bovenwoningen licht uitkragen en de ingangen van de hoekwoningen zijn ondergebracht in een portiek met luifel, die ook de toegangen der directe buurwoningen overdekt, en waarbij de toegangen der middenwoningen per drie gekoppeld zijn. De vensters aan de straatzijde zijn wisselend per vier of twee gekoppeld. De eerste verdieping is boven de ingang uitgebouwd, terwijl de schoorsteenpartijen tevens als vijf schuttingen tussen de balcons dienst doen; de korte zijgevels zijn vrijwel blind - behoudens enkele vierkante vensters en zijn in het midden aan de bovenzijde verlaagd. Aan de straatzijde zijn zij verbonden met tuinmuren waarin een verhoogde rondboogpoort is uitgespaard. Aan de achtergevels bij de hoekwoningen twee bouwlagen hoge uitbouwen met balcon, drielichtvensters, afgewisseld door kleine vierkante vensters en luifels tussen de schoorstenen.

Description
NORTHWESTERN SERIES OF MIDDLE-CLASS DWELLINGS. A three-storey terrace from 1926-28 with upper and lower dwellings, where the upper dwellings project slightly and the entrances of the corner dwellings are housed in a portico with a canopy, which also covers the accesses of the adjacent dwellings, and where the entrances of the middle dwellings are coupled in groups of three. The windows on the street side are alternately coupled in fours or twos. The first storey is built out above the entrance, while the chimney sections also serve as five screens between the balconies; the short side facades are virtually blind - except for a few square windows and are lowered in the middle at the top. On the street side they are connected with garden walls in which a raised round-arched gateway is recessed. On the rear facades of the corner dwellings, two-storey high extensions with balcony, three-light windows, alternated by small square windows and canopies between the chimneys.
