OPENBARE LEESZAAL EN BIBLIOTHEEK. Het in 1926-28 als 'openbare leeszaal en bibliotheek' opgetrokken gebouw is vrijwel spiegelbeeldig aan het verenigingsgebouw, maar heeft geen erker aan de zuidoostzijde, die voorts een andere venster-indeling bezit, met 40 ruits-licht en respectievelijk drie en vijf drielichten in de bovenlagen. Anders is ook de lagere aanbouw aan de zuidwestzijde met kleine verdiepte vierkante vensters.

Description
PUBLIC READING ROOM AND LIBRARY. The building erected in 1926-28 as a 'public reading room and library' is virtually mirror-image to the association building, but has no bay window on the southeast side, which furthermore has a different window arrangement, with 40-pane light and respectively three and five three-lights in the upper storeys. Also different is the lower extension on the southwest side with small recessed square windows.
