HEKKEN AAN HET PAD ONDERLANGS HET VOORPLEIN. In het verlengde van de noordelijke walmuur en zuidelijke keermuur van het voorplein wordt het haaks daarop, onderlangs lopende pad afgesloten door smeedijzeren hekken waarvan de rechte afsluiting wordt bekroond door een gekroond medaillon met a-jour initialen van de toenmalige kasteelheer en -vrouwe (omstreeks 1700).

Description
GATES AT THE PATH ALONG THE FORECOURT. In the extension of the northern rampart wall and southern retaining wall of the forecourt the path running at right angles to it, along the lower level is closed off by wrought iron gates of which the straight closure is crowned by a crowned medallion with pierced initials of the then castle lord and lady (circa 1700).
