Omschrijving
INRIJHEK AAN DE OVERSTRAAT, de ingang van de Margaretha Turnorlaan afsluitend.
Smeedijzeren spijlenhek in de stijl van omstreeks 1700, bekroond door het monogram Van Aldenburg Bentinck en gevat tussen bakstenen pijlers met zandstenen dekplaten; op asymmetrische wijze geflankeerd door lagere vaste spijlenhekken gevat tussen soortgelijke pijlers en, aan de oostzijde, een gebogen muurtje waarin een stichtingssteen met vermelding van de schenking in 1929 bij het 50-jarig jubileum van Graaf van Aldenburg Bentinck als kasteelheer. Het geheel is, van de Overstraat gezien, in een concave bocht opgesteld.

ENTRANCE GATE ON THE OVERSTRAAT, closing off the entrance to the Margaretha Turnorlaan.
Wrought-iron spear gate in the style of around 1700, crowned by the monogram Van Aldenburg Bentinck and set between brick pillars with sandstone cappings; flanked in an asymmetrical manner by lower fixed spear gates set between similar pillars and, on the east side, a curved wall in which a foundation stone commemorating the donation in 1929 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Count van Aldenburg Bentinck as lord of the castle. The whole is arranged in a concave curve, as seen from the Overstraat.
