Omschrijving
KEERMUUR EN PERGOLA. Over een gelijke lengte te weerszijden van de as van het pad onderlangs het voorplein strekt zich in de grote moestuin in de lengterichting een lage door doorgangen onderbroken, bakstenen muur uit (in oorsprong vierde kwart van de zeventiende eeuw of uit omstreeks 1700) die als keermuur fungeert tussen de twee niveaus waarin de moestuin hier is verdeeld.
Het middengedeelte van de muur is omstreeks 1900 vervangen door een halfcirkelvormige bakstenen pergola, geleed door hoger opgaande pijlertjes. Op de pijlers van de centrale doorgang twee terracotta adelaars op ovale voetstukken (omstreeks 1900); op de twee andere doorgangspijlers twee zittende wapenleeuwen (omstreeks 1900).

Description
RETAINING WALL AND PERGOLA. Over an equal length on either side of the axis of the path along the front forecourt extends in the large kitchen garden in the lengthwise direction a low brick wall interrupted by passages (originally fourth quarter seventeenth century or from around 1700) which functions as a retaining wall between the two levels into which the kitchen garden is here divided.
The middle section of the wall was replaced around 1900 by a semicircular brick pergola, articulated by taller rising small piers. On the piers of the central passage two terracotta eagles on oval bases (around 1900); on the two other passage piers two seated heraldic lions (around 1900).
