Omschrijving
MUREN OM DE GROTE MOESTUIN. Aan de west- en noordzijden in oorsprong uit het vierde kwart van de zeventiende eeuw daterende bakstenen muren, waarvan de laatste in de as van het hoofdgebouw een door een spijlenhek afgesloten opening (claire-voie) heeft en aansluit bij de oranjerie; de noordmuur is ten tijde van het verblijf van de Duitse keizer Wilhelm II gedeeltelijk enigszins verhoogd.
Aan de oostzijde een door pijlers met natuurstenen dekplaten gelede bakstenen muur (in oorsprong vierde kwart zeventiende eeuw, maar grotendeels vernieuwd in de negentiende of twintigste eeuw), aan de zuidzijde beëindigd door een door zwaardere pijlers geflankeerde doorgang met hekvleugels en bij de oranjerie voorzien van de tweede doorgang.

Description
WALLS AROUND THE LARGE KITCHEN GARDEN. On the west and north sides brick walls dating originally from the fourth quarter of the seventeenth century, the latter being in the axis of the main building a brick opening (claire-voie) closed off by a railing and connecting to the orangery; the north wall was partially somewhat heightened during the stay of German Emperor Wilhelm II.
On the east side a brick wall articulated by piers with natural stone coping (originally fourth quarter seventeenth century, but largely renewed in the nineteenth or twentieth century), on the south side terminated by a passage with gate wings flanked by heavier piers and at the orangery provided with a second passage.
