The register's description

Originally a 16th-century HOUSE, which served as a brewery for the greater part of the 17th and 18th centuries and subsequently underwent various alterations, consisting of a front house with an upper storey under a gabled roof with a gable at the rear, an inner courtyard and a rear house without an upper storey under a hipped roof with tiles; the present front facade dates from a datestone in the gable from 1896 and is built in neo-Renaissance style, with a polygonally projected and prominent turret above the entrance at the left side, and above the two windows of the upper storey a repositioned facade stone, with triangular bond and inscription OECONOMISCHE FABRICA, recalling the visit of Louis Napoleon in 1809. Also in 1896 the front part of the roof structure was raised. The rear facade contains sash windows with arch stones from circa 1850. Behind the house an attached, detached kitchen, presumably also from 1896, under a hipped roof.

The most important interior components are: painted wallpapers dating from circa 1805 with landscape representations by De la Rivière (two; overmantel paintings disappeared); fine late-19th-century stucco ceilings on the ground floor (front and rear house); fine, very long hallway with late-19th-century tiles in the broad section at the front and the extension towards the kitchen and large tiles of black marble in the long intermediate section; in the hallway a low, finely carved door to the cellar with a barrel vault beneath the front part of the front house; the kitchen with walls diagonally tiled with white tiles and with a floor of hexagonal tiles in black, white and grey; furthermore throughout the entire house very fine wooden doors with marbled frames and etched glass in fanlights and the interior side of the staircase and coloured glass window with etched imitation of a Pompeian representation on the landing of the upper storey.

As far as the main layout is concerned, a sound 16th-century house with interesting details from different building periods, particularly from the beginning and end of the 19th century, in exterior and interior, and therefore of general importance from the point of view of architectural and art-historical value.
