Omschrijving
St. Christoffel, gewijd 1883. A. Tepe. Neogotische KRUISBASILIEK met slanke westtoren, begeleid door haakse steunberen en geleed door nissen in alle verdiepingen. Hoge,ingesnoerde naaldspits. Het thans witgepleisterde interieur heeft een Lodewijk-XVI-preekstoel en een neogotisch vleugelaltaar van F. W. Mengelberg. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Zwelwerk, Positief en Pedaal, in 1882 gemaakt voor de Maria Magdalenakerk te Worcester (Engeland). In 1981 overgeplaatst naar Schagen door Bischp & Son te Ipswich. Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van anonieme gieter, 19de eeuw, diam. 121,9 cm ; een klok van J. van Bremen, 1512, en een klok van Herman, 1478, diam. 79,5 cm.

Description
St. Christoffel, consecrated 1883. A. Tepe. Neogothic CRUCIFORM BASILICA with slender west tower, flanked by right-angled buttresses and articulated by niches on all storeys. High, tapering needle spire. The now whitewashed interior has a Louis XVI pulpit and a neogothic winged altar by F. W. Mengelberg. Organ with Great, Swell, Positive and Pedal, made in 1882 for the Maria Magdalena church in Worcester (England). In 1981 transferred to Schagen by Bischop & Son of Ipswich. Bell frame with chiming consisting of a bell by anonymous founder, 19th century, diam. 121.9 cm; a bell by J. van Bremen, 1512, and a bell by Herman, 1478, diam. 79.5 cm.
