Omschrijving
STADHUIS. Rechthoekig gebouw, met barokke pilastergevel (ca. 1700, verbouwd o.a. in 1880,1906, vernieuwd 1955), het schilddak bekroond met een achtzijdige houten toren en aan de voorzijde voorzien van drie versierde dakkapellen. Keldermuren gedeeltelijk van kolenzandsteen, XII? Inventaris: o.a. negen geschilderde portretten van vorsten der Oostenrijkse Nederlanden, inwendig régence schouw, schoorsteenstuk Karel VI, stucplafond, marmeren schoorsteenmantel XVIII, getimmerd portiek, voorts torenklok 1829, inventaris o.a. acht Habsburger portretten, spiegel midden XVIII, staande klok van Beltjens en een aantal antieke meubelen.

Description
TOWN HALL. Rectangular building, with Baroque pilaster facade (circa 1700, rebuilt among others in 1880, 1906, renewed 1955), the hipped roof crowned with an octagonal wooden tower and on the front side provided with three decorated roof dormers. Cellar walls partly of carboniferous sandstone, 12th century? Inventory: among others nine painted portraits of sovereigns of the Austrian Netherlands, internally Regency fireplace, fireplace mantelpiece Charles VI, stucco ceiling, marble fireplace mantel 18th century, boarded portico, furthermore tower clock 1829, inventory among others eight Habsburg portraits, mirror mid-18th century, standing clock by Beltjens and a number of antique furniture.
