KLOOSTER Soeterbeeck van de zusters Augustinessen, kruisvormig complex waarvan de westvleugel (de kapel) en de noord- en zuidvleugel uit rond 1870-80 dagtekenen en zonder belang zijn, doch waarvan de oostvleugel nog uit de achttiende eeuw dagtekent: een hoog rechthoekig bakstenen gebouw met zadeldak en oostelijke topgevel, segmentvormige overtoogde vensters en ramen met kleine witte roedenverdeling; inwendig fraaie stucplafonds; de originele balkenzolderingen en trappen.
Het werd in 1733 gebouwd met toestemming van Karel Philips, heer van Ravenstein, nadat de nonnen in 1732 uit Soeterbeeck onder Nuenen verdreven waren.
Uitgebreid in 1744 en tweede helft negentiende eeuw.
Eenklaviers orgel, in 1863 gemaakt door F.C. Smits. In 1977 gerestaureerd door de firma Vermeulen te Weert.

Description
CONVENT Soeterbeeck of the Augustinian sisters, cross-shaped complex of which the west wing (the chapel) and the north and south wings date from around 1870-80 and are of no importance, but of which the east wing still dates from the eighteenth century: a tall rectangular brick building with gabled roof and eastern gable, segmentally arched windows and sashes with small white glazing bars; internally fine stucco ceilings; the original wooden beam floors and staircases.
It was built in 1733 with the permission of Karel Philips, lord of Ravenstein, after the nuns were expelled from Soeterbeeck under Nuenen in 1732.
Enlarged in 1744 and second half of the nineteenth century.
Single-manual organ, made in 1863 by F.C. Smits. Restored in 1977 by the firm Vermeulen in Weert.
