Omschrijving
R.K. Kerk van St. Jan. Gotische kruiskerk uit de tweede helft van de 15e eeuw, bestaande uit een zeven traveeën diep, driezijdig gesloten koor met kapellen langs de twee westelijke traveeen, en een onvoltooid gebleven toren uit 1519-1527. In 1880-1882 door P. Cuypers en J. van Langelaar tot vijfbeukige kerk uitgebreid. In de kerk kolommen van baksteen met natuursteenlagen, kruisribgewelven in het koor en zijn zijkapellen, evenals in de sacristie. Orgelkas in twee delen met instrument van M. Maarschalkerweerd uit 1890. In 1910 werd de electro-pneumatische tractuur vervangen door een geheel pneumatische.

Description
Roman Catholic Church of St. John. Gothic cruciform church from the second half of the 15th century, consisting of a choir seven bays deep, three-sided closed choir with chapels along the two western bays, and an unfinished tower from 1519-1527. In 1880-1882 enlarged by P. Cuypers and J. van Langelaar into a five-aisled church. In the church brick columns with natural stone bands, cross-ribbed vaults in the choir and its side chapels, as well as in the sacristy. Organ case in two sections with instrument by M. Maarschalkerweerd from 1890. In 1910 the electro-pneumatic action was replaced by a fully pneumatic one.
