Omschrijving
Hervormde kerk. Romano-gotisch bakstenen kerkje met vrij gave details aan vensters en gedichte ingang aan de noordzijde; westgevel uit 1843 met houten klokkenkoepel als te Aalsum ter vervanging van een toren. In de kerk preekstoel zeventiende eeuw, twee banken met gesneden wapens in de ruggen. Marmeren epitaaf voor Sc. van Scheltema en twee grote zerken, een door meester B.G. Eneen uit 1747, drie kronen en twee lichtarmen. Eenklaviers orgel in 1740 gemaakt door M. Schwartsburg. In 1827 werd de windlade vervangen en de onderkas verbreed door L.J. en J. van Dam. Klokkenstoel met klok van J. Balthasar, 1659, diameter 85,5 cm.

Description
Reformed church. Romano-Gothic brick churchlet with fairly well-preserved details at windows and closed entrance on the north side; west gable from 1843 with wooden bell cupola as at Aalsum replacing a tower. In the church pulpit seventeenth century, two pews with carved coat-of-arms on the backs. Marble epitaph for Sc. van Scheltema and two large gravestones, one by master B.G. and one from 1747, three crowns and two light arms. Single-keyboard organ made in 1740 by M. Schwartsburg. In 1827 the wind chest was replaced and the lower case widened by L.J. and J. van Dam. Bell frame with bell by J. Balthasar, 1659, diameter 85.5 cm.
