Omschrijving
Herv. kerk en toren. Ter plaatse ener middeleeuwse kerk in 1776 opgetrokken kerkje met ingebouwde toren. In de kerk preekstoel en herenbank, XVIII; twee grote zerken, één door mr B.G. XVI en één XVII; banken met koperen blakers, XVIII; rouwkas Bergsma, 1793. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Rugwerk: in 1819 gemaakt voor de Herv. kerk te Spannum door Jan Radersma (overl. 1816) en zijn zoon Pieter. In 1913 geplaatst in Metslawier, waarbij het Rugwerk werd veranderd in een Bovenwerk. Bij de laatste restauratie in 1985 werd de Rugwerkkas gereconstrueerd. Klokkenstoel met klok van P. Overney, 1711, diam. 100 cm.

Description
Reformed church and tower. At the site of a medieval church a churchlet built in 1776 with built-in tower. In the church pulpit and gentlemen's pew, 18th century; two large gravestones, one by mr B.G. 16th century and one 17th century; pews with brass candlesticks, 18th century; mourning chest Bergsma, 1793. Organ with Great Work and Back Work: made in 1819 for the Reformed church in Spannum by Jan Radersma (died 1816) and his son Pieter. In 1913 placed in Metslawier, whereby the Back Work was changed into a Positive Work. At the last restoration in 1985 the Back Work case was reconstructed. Bell frame with bell by P. Overney, 1711, diam. 100 cm.
