Omschrijving
Op de hoek van de Dekanijstraat. Bestaat uit TWEE PANDEN: op de hoek een eenvoudige witte DORPSWONING; vensters met luiken en empire-ramen met telkens twee bogen in het bovenlicht van elk venster en kleine roedenverdeling. Daarnaast: rechthoekig WOONHUIS van twee verdiepingen, thans meubelfabriek. Met hoog dak tussen trapgevels aan de korte zijden. De vensters aan de voorgevel - in de trant van pl.m. 1550 doch met ertussen jaarankers 1679 - zijn overspannen door uitgekraagde korfbogen; in de boogtrommels metselmozaïek. In de middelste travee een laad-opening uitgebroken, dwars door de onderste korfboog heen. In de zuidelijke trapgevel zijn de vensters dichtgezet en is een afdak aangebouwd voor hout-opslag. Inwendig nog de oude balklagen met eenvoudige geprofileerde sleutelstukken. In 1629 gesticht als huis voor de scholaster en de kanunniken. In de ramen dezelfde roedenverdeling en boven dezelfde rondbogen (hier met omgekeerde waaiers) als in het witte huisje op de hoek ernaast.

Description
On the corner of the Dekanijstraat. Consists of TWO PROPERTIES: on the corner a simple white VILLAGE DWELLING; windows with shutters and Empire windows with each two arches in the fanlight of each window and small glazing bar division. Adjacent to it: rectangular DWELLING HOUSE of two storeys, now furniture factory. With tall roof between stepped gables at the short sides. The windows on the front facade - in the manner of approximately 1550 but with date anchors 1679 in between - are spanned by corbelled segmental arches; in the arch tympanums brickwork mosaic. In the middle bay a loading opening broken through, across the lower segmental arch. In the southern stepped gable the windows are blocked up and a lean-to shed is built for wood storage. Internally still the old beam layers with simple profiled keystones. Founded in 1629 as a house for the scholaster and the canons. In the windows the same glazing bar division and above the same round arches (here with inverted fans) as in the small white house at the corner adjacent to it.
