Omschrijving
Monumentaal herenhuis, (thans onderdeel van het stadhuis) bestaande uit twee parallel lopende vleugels, waarvan de achterste aan de noordzijde verder uitspringt dan de voorste en driezijdig gesloten is. Voorste vleugel, vermoedelijk 1743. Achterste vleugel, 1770-1772, door architect Bolten.
Beide vleugels hebben hoge schilddaken met hoekschoorstenen, die kappen met windvanen dragen. De eenvoudige lijstgevels hebben vensters met acht-, twaalf- en vijftienruitsschuiframen. Deuromlijsting met verdiepte pilasters en hoofdgestel.
In de raadszaal, geschilderd behang door Cornelis van Leeuwen, 1773. Trap met eiken balusters; rococoschouw met grauwtje.

Description
Monumental townhouse, (now part of the town hall) consisting of two parallel wings, of which the rear projects further to the north than the front and is enclosed on three sides. Front wing, presumably 1743. Rear wing, 1770-1772, by architect Bolten.
Both wings have high hipped roofs with corner chimneys, which carry roof finials with weathervanes. The simple cornice-topped facades have windows with eight-, twelve- and fifteen-pane sash windows. Door frame with recessed pilasters and main entablature.
In the council chamber, painted wallpaper by Cornelis van Leeuwen, 1773. Staircase with oak balusters; rococo fireplace with grauwtje.
