Uit 1922 daterende, vierkante vuurtoren uit baksteen en gewapend beton opgetrokken naar ontwerp van C. Jelsma. De toren is wit geschilderd, is 19.60 m. hoog en heeft 6 etages. De toren springt boven de begane grond trapsgewijs iets in en de muurvlakken van de bovenste verdieping en de opengewerkte balustrade kragen tussen de rechte hoeken driezijdig uit. Iets boven het midden van de voorzijde een driezijdig uitkragende uitkijkpost.

Description
Dating from 1922, square lighthouse built of brick and reinforced concrete to the design of C. Jelsma. The tower is painted white, is 19.60 m. high and has 6 storeys. The tower steps back slightly above ground level and the wall surfaces of the upper storey and the openwork balustrade project three-sided between the right angles. Slightly above the centre of the front side a three-sided projecting observation post.
