Omschrijving
GEMEENLANDSHUIS van Waterland, daterend uit 1619 maar uitgebreid en ingrijpend gewijzigd in 1908. Rechtergedeelte van de voorgevel in de trant van Hans Vredeman de Vries is grotendeels een kopie van de oude maar bevat nog twee oorspronkelijke leeuwemaskers. De trapgevel links, die in 1908 geheel nieuw werd opgetrokken bezit een bekronende leeuwefiguur, XVII, twee leeuwemaskers, XVII, en een steen met het stadswapen, afkomstig van de in 1888 gesloopte Noordeinderpoort.

Description
GEMEENLANDSHUIS of Waterland, dating from 1619 but enlarged and substantially modified in 1908. Right section of the front facade in the manner of Hans Vredeman de Vries is largely a copy of the old but still contains two original lion masks. The stepped gable on the left, which was entirely rebuilt in 1908 has a crowning lion figure, 17th century, two lion masks, 17th century, and a stone with the town coat of arms, from the Noordeinderpoort demolished in 1888.
