Omschrijving
Nederlands Hervormde Kerk. Laatgotische eenbeukige kruiskerk, omstreeks 1500 met vijfzijdig gesloten koor, overkluisd met tongewelven van hout. Tegen de noordzijde van het schip een hardstenen portaal uit 1777. Doopkapel tegen de zuidzijde van de toren. Bakstenen toren met korte, achthoekige spits en traptoren tegen de noordwand. Kerk en toren gerestaureerd 1967. Tot de inventaris behoren: een eenvoudige preekstoel, begin 19e eeuw met lezenaar in Lodewijk XVI vormen; een rijk gesneden orgelkas, 19e eeuw en een aantal grafzerken uit de 16e en 19e eeuw. Ten noorden van de toren aan de Kerkring een toegangshek met hardstenen pijlers, bekroond door siervazen, Lodewijk XV, afkomstig van het buiten Langendam bij Sommelsdijk en sinds 1842 hier geplaatst. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, B. Eijsbouts, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Dutch Reformed Church. Late Gothic single-aisle cruciform church, circa 1500 with five-sided closed choir, covered with wooden barrel vaults. Against the north side of the nave a hardstone portal from 1777. Baptismal chapel against the south side of the tower. Brick tower with short, octagonal spire and stair tower against the north wall. Church and tower restored 1967. The inventory includes: a simple pulpit, early 19th century with reading desk in Louis XVI forms; a richly carved organ case, 19th century and a number of tombstones from the 16th and 19th century. North of the tower on the Kerkring an entrance gate with hardstone pillars, crowned with ornamental vases, Louis XV, originating from the country house Langendam near Sommelsdijk and placed here since 1842. Mechanical tower clock, B. Eijsbouts, is out of service.
